ABOUT OATCUBE and MYSELF
Hello! I'm Jouko from Finland. A late 30s guy interested in software and game developing. I have been doing game developing stuff for a few years now on my free time. I've been mostly making smaller projects, prototypes and taking part in different GameJams.
The idea behind Faraway Generations has been a big thing for me for years. I've also done a tabletop RPG scenario with the same setting and I love books and games with similar theme. I love the disturbing and unnerving aspect of the idea of a generation ship in science fiction.
I feel like there are a lot of games that are about managing a space ship or a space station, but nothing like this. This game is more closer to Banished and Frostpunk, than it is to Space Haven or Meeple Station. The main point in the game is in the flavour and feeling.

ONE MAN DEV TEAMThe coding, graphics, audio and some of the music tracks are made by myself using mainly Unity, Photoshop, Audacity and Waveform.
